Ventilation alarm EP 20-300 – the alarm is designed to help ensure the correct operation of a ventilation or extraction system.
The alarm has a built-in pressure switch, backup and CTS relay for control of ventilation systems, spot suction etc. Eq. The pressure monitor has a green operating light, a red alarm light and a button to mute the sound. The sounder is mounted in the box.
The pressure switch must normally switch on, together with the ventilation system being monitored. It can therefore advantageously be connected via an operating switch to a damper or fan.
When the pressure falls below the set alarm point, the alarm will activate. The sound can be turned off, and will be active again when the pressure has been OK. When voltage is first switched on, the acoustic alarm will not be activated due to the start-up time of the fan. During startup, the alarm light will flash. Only when the pressure has been OK, the acoustic alarm is active.
The voltage to the backup circuit must only be lost in the event of a mains failure or failure. Mains outages or faults will sound an alarm. The backup alarm is powered by a 9 V battery, which can last up to 15 hours when alarmed. Without mains failure, the battery will be able to last approx. 3 years.
The pressure switch has spigots for over and under pressure. The hose end that is not used is the reference point for the measurement. By inserting a measuring orifice in the channel, an alarm can be issued in the event of insufficient flow.
If there is variable speed on the ventilation system, a voltage relay is used.
1m plastic hose, nozzle and 9V battery are included.
An external control panel is available as an accessory.
Product is being discontinued. Approx 200pcs. can be produced.
