Series regulator for lights or electronic transformers. The regulator uses FET technology. This has the great advantage that the load can be switched on during zero crossing and switched off again in the middle of a half-cycle. This method removes the noise normally heard from the coil of a triac regulator. There is a built-in short-circuit protection and over-temperature protection.
Note: Do not connect to motors and standard transformers.
