Flow alarm – the alarm is designed as a help to ensure correct flow in fume cupboards. Supplied with power supply, built-in battery backup, control panel and flow sensor.
The power supply for the flow alarm is taken from the fume cupboard switch, as monitoring normally only is required when the cupboard is in operation.
Operation is monitored on the control panel. The green light diode indicates that operation is ok (0.5m/s), yellow light (approx. 0.6m/s) indicates high flow, and red light together with audible alarm indicates insufficient flow (<0.4m/s). The insufficient flow alarm is only activated when the flow has been below 0.4m/s for approx. 2 seconds.
It is possible to mute the audible alarm on a push button.
